There is a Burnett County Cemetery listing available.
The name Kate Kiehl 1873-1926 is listed in the Siren Lakeview Cemetery but I did not find Lawrence listed in either The Siren Lakeview or the Mud Hen Lake Lakeview Cemetery.

There are 2 cemeteries close to Siren. The Siren/Lakeview cemetery on the south side of town located on Cemetery Rd. (the road actually goes through the cemetery since they had to expand). And then there is Mud Hen Lake cemetery which is right on Hwy 70 W going from Siren to Grantsburg. This cemetery is on the south side of the road and visable from the highway.

Not sure you are still looking for information - it has been a long time since your 2005 post.
Ella Marie Hagglund Burnikel is my grandmother. She had two sisters both named Hazel (one married Sampson) and another sister named Mae (m. to Gunnar Johnson). I think Hazel Sampson may have been a child from Hilda's 2nd husband, Mr. Lindstrom. Hilda and Gustaf Hagglund were both from, I believe Varmland, Sweden, tho it seems were married in the U.S. What sort of accident did Gustaf suffer?

Thank you for your quick reply. I did find the Ira E. BRADLEY Jackson Co. OR on Find-A-Grave, but don't believe him to be the correct person. I do have his info though and will keep him in mind,...it appears that he was married to a Myra for a long time and had children with her.

Yes, we had Martha BRADLEY up to the 1930 census (living w/son Ralph COLESON), but did not have the 1940 (hadn't looked yet!), nor did I have her death/burial!

Thank you, I will look for an obituary for her to see if that has any clues.

I'm not absolutely sure this is he, but I found an Ira Ellette Bradley who died August 7, 1926 in Jackson Co. OR. Certificate #181. No other info was shown.
This was under "Oregon Death Index". When I searched the Jackson Co. USGEN Web I see where they have listed names for ones they have death certificates for. His name was listed. If you would like to order his death certificate to be sure this is the correct one you can go on the website and get the address. Or, you might try just doing a search for "Jackson Co. OR Death Certificates". (They also had one on a Mabel Juanita Bradley Cert #267. Not sure she was kin.)

Not sure if you have this, but I also found Martha Bradley in 1930 living with her son by her first marriage, Ralph L. Coleson and Gladys in Grand Haven, Ottawa, MI. She was still living with them in 1940 in Marion, Oceana, MI. He was listed as son, and a Clergyman, just like Ira was.

Find a grave for Martha Coleson Bradley: Buried Hart Cem. in Oceana, Co. MI. Dates 1861 - 1943. Died at age 82.

(I was interested in searching for you because I was born in Burnett Co. WI, but live in VA.)

We do not know his middle name, only the initial E. We are willing to investigate any leads as we have none at this point. The last info we have on him is that he was living in Webb Lake in 1920 with his wife Martha.

Are there any indexes for cemeteries serving the community of Webb Lake? (I found two cemeteries listed on Find-A-Grave, Webb Lake Cemetery and Evergreen Cemetery. Are there more?

We are looking for a grave for Ira E. BRADLEY who probably died between the 1920 & 1930 censuses. He was born abt. 1857 in Vermont, lived also in Kansas KS & Iowa IA. In 1920 he is ennumerated with wife Martha living in Webb Lake. We could not find him in the 1930 census. We believe Ira was Methodist. Are there any Methodist cemeteries serving that area?

Any suggestions on where I might find indexes or cemetery listings would be much appreciated.

If I found the correct records, Abbe was born Abbie Augusta Vor Pahl (Vorpahl) on 29 Dec 1906 in Krunersville, Burnett County, Wisconsin. Her parents were Julius Vorpahl & Laurel Emma Eddy, who were married on 13 Jun 1905 in the Town Of Blaine, Burnett County, Wisconsin. Abbe also had a brother Forest Vorpahl.

It looks like Julius & Laurel divorced sometime between the 1910 & 1920 census. In the 1920 census, Julius was listed as Divorced, and Laurel was married to George A Watson, with Abbie & her brother Forest with the last name Watson. There was also a Gene Watson as a son of George & Emma L, but I don't know if he was a son of Julius & Laurel Emma, or a son of George & Laurel Emma.

I looked at the Burnett County Register of Deeds birth records and did not find a birth record for Abbie Watson in Burnett County, the state of Wisconsin did not require records until 1907 but I also did not find a Watson listed in the 1895 census record.

Yes, I have looked at those census records, and it does seem to fit with Ethel's mother as being white in the Minnesota records. Maybe George died in a different county nearby? Another thought would be to check Burnett County for the marriage record of Ethel & Charley Swanson. Circa 1932. Or Polk County where he may have had family?

I will check on this with the MN Historical Society..see if they have copies of these. Ethel was also married to George Campbell before she married Charley. He died circa 1928 in Burnett County, Wisconsin...Anderson, I believe, but I can find no death or burial record. In the census records of 1910+1920 she is listed as mulatto. so that fits, too.

Hi again, I think I found Ethel's parents & siblings in the census records, and the marriage record for Ethel & George, and the marriage for Ethel's parents, but neither record has their parents listed.

But from what I found, it looks like Ethel's parents were Fielding Watson Jones and Julia Elma Doudnia.

It might be a good idea to find the marriage record for Ethel and her 2nd husband Charley Swanson.

Note...in one census, Ethel is listed as Viola, which is different from Vera from her headstone, but.....and her age is off from census records and date on headstone & the SSDI.
And her age on the marriage record shows different than the census and headstone, but maybe she wanted them to think she was older than she was?

Well, you decide if this may be Ethel & her family...

It looks like Ethel was now married to a Charley Lavenson, and it also looks like they had a daughter together, Adeline, born about 1933. But I think his last name was Swanson, even though it is indexed as Lavenson.

I checked the Burnett County Cemetery listings and did not find George or Ethel Campbell on any of the lists.

I did find some family info in www.familysearch.org that I am assuming is the same names. Place of birth for George is listed as Michian and place of birth for Ethel listed as Minnesota. In the 1930 census - Ethel is listed as a 40 year old widow. Children mentioned are Josephine M Campbell (5/17/1906) and George R Campbell - another area listed a Leonard

Someone corrected this census by replacing A Hotchkiss with Aaron C. Hotchkiss. But I think this was Alonzo. He married an Ella Letson. Aaron married a Minoria Hutchinson.

So far, from what I found from 1900 on, Alonzo was married twice, both times with women who had children from a previous marriage. It looks like he did not have any children of his own. Matilda was his 2nd wife (unless he was married before 1900. His marriage to Mary A (Filberts)Stickeny took place 22 Apr 1900 in Dunn County, Wisconsin. By 1905, he was "single". He married Matilda Jane (Nee?) Gerhardt 24 Nov 1909 in Hennepin County, Minnesota.

I have more info on Ira E. including:
child - Clarence, b. Nov. 1884 (prob. VT or KS).
Ira's first wife was from TN, name unknown.

Ira's mother Almira CONGDON is my 3rd gr-grandfather's sister. Ira's father was Harvey BRADLEY.

Interested in finding descendents of Ira or anyone researching this BRADLEY family or CONGDON. Would be especially interested in an obituary for Ira, though I do not have a death date as yet. 1920 Census is the last data I've found so far.

Yes, Gordon Jr. was a career soldier. He resided at the Veteran's Hospital in Minneapolis, MN as the direct result of a gunshot wound. Prior to that, he resided overseas.
