I am researching the Janke family in Eau Claire County. I am specifically interested in Herman Janke who, along with Huldah Schultz, witnessed the wedding of my ggrandmother, Hattie Janke, to Herman Otto in 1891. I found Herman Janke, his wife, Minnie, and daughter Tillie living in Otter Creek in 1900 and 1910, and then just Herman and Minnie in Clear Creek in 1920 and 1930.

I know that Hattie's father's name was Michael (Michiel) so I am wondering what the relationship was between Hattie and Herman Janke?

If anyone has any clues for me, I'd greatly appreciate them!
