I hope that you can help me with a question about genology that i can't get an answer to here. In the early 1900's my grandfathers uncle emigrated to the U.S from Istaby,(Sölvesborg) Sweden, as far as we know and if we are right he finally settled in Wisconsin, Eau Claire and died 1970 there.

We have followed passengerlists and arrival dates and found one person that matches all critera. We have even found out his SSN, but can't confirm it since we are not recidents of the U.S. If i have understood it correctly, on the SSN-form that he originally filled out when he aplied, he hade to put his parents names, and that's what i'm hoping to find.

And how do we go about finding any living relatives of him?

Can someone please assist me/us with this?

I am thankful for any help i can get!
