Beatrice M. Felmer
Beatrice M. Felmer, 95, of 203 Leonard St., Marinette, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 24, 2008. The former Beatrice Wood was born on May 15, 1923.
On September 3, 1938, Beatrice married Julius Felmer at the Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo and the couple celebrated 60 years of marriage. Julius preceded her in death on November 9, 1998. Beatrice was a longtime Peshtigo resident before moving to Marinette.
Beatrice is survived by three sons: Robert (Julie) Felmer of Florence, James (Carlene) Felmer of Green Bay, and Donald (Kay) Felmer of Stevens Point; two daughters: Betty Redlich of Marinette, Cindy (Dr. Narayan) Amarnani of Fort Meyers, Fla.; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a very special son-in-law, Jack Hetcher. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Carol Hetcher, a granddaughter, Jackie Hetcher; two brothers: Myron, & Stanley; and a sister, Eleanor.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2008, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo from 2:30 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. with Rev. David Shan officiating.
Burial will be in Peshtigo Riverside Cemetery.
Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
The family would like to thank Beatrice's caregivers, Colleen Paris, Melody Heron, & Mickey Kehoe. Also the RN's for Northern Luther Health Care, Pam Goes and Donna, whose dedicated care & support helped Mom stay in her home all these years.
