Rites Slated For Native Of Germany
Otto Wischnewski, 79, Of 487 Vermont St., died at 12:35 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital following a lingering illness.
Born April 29, 1888, in Friedrichsburg, Germany, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wischnewski, he married the former Augusta Bastian on Aug. 29, 1911, in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on Jan. 21, 1941. He married Eva Felda in 1942. She died in 1964.
Coming to this country in 1909, he was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church and worked for more than 40 years for Fred Reuping Leather Co retiring in 1955.
Survivors include four sons, Walter, Clarence, Ralph and Robert, all of Fond du Lac; three daughters, Mrs. Jacob Fiebig, Mrs. William Heise and Mrs. Betty Heise, all of Fond du Lac: one stepson, Peter Felda of the city: two step-daughters, Mrs. Herbert Stargardt of Athens and Mrs. Ralph Wischnewski of Fond du Lac; 17 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, Rev. Paul G. Piotter and Rev. Harold G. Kromrey officiating. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Candlish Chapel from 4 p m . Monday to 10 a.m. Tuesday when the body will be taken to the church.
