I am in search of a Robert McGowen family , I do know that he resided in Friendship Township in the county of Fond du Lak during the 1800's and had a son by the name of Erwin a surviving twin. The birth was recorded in March of 1881,in Fond du Lak. Erwin would be my grandfather. My Great-Grand mother was Margaret Coughlin McGowan are listed as being born in Ireland It does however, not state the county in which they were born. I also know that Robert died June 21, 1890. He was buried in Taycheedah by G.V Mears.
My Great- grandmother was buried along with several chhildren (Bridget, Mary) in September of !887. She was 52 years of age and listed as being buried in Byron by an E.F. Doge. If yu have any additional information Please contact me.
