Researching Family from Armstrong Creek

Surnames: Miszczak/Misczak/Miszak
I am researching information on the Miszczak (Misczak or Miszak) Family. Yesterday we found out that one of the children was born in Armstrong Creek, Wisconsin, I have been trying to figure out where their port of entry was into the US. Does anyone know if there was a Polish Community in this area??. . and if so, where were the Polish immigrants coming through to get into the US?. . Thanks for any information you can give.
