Does anyone know which Joe/Joseph Edge served as Grant County sheriff 1923-1924?

An article from the GRANT COUNTY HERALD says his father-in-law, Bert Morse, would act as deputy and jailer, but I have not been able to make a connection between EDGE and MORSE.

The name of Sheriff Edge's wife and/or son or even parents/siblings would be appreciated.

Would like to find how he may connect with the rest of my Edge family.
