Is there anyone who knows where the adoption records (if any) are kept for the years 1856-1860 for Green Lake Co. My children's great grandfather Frederick Ledwil Hamilton was adopted by Thomas and Mary Harris Hamilton and shows him living with them in 1860. Fred was born 1856. They also adopted two girls, Alice and Betty (Rettie). Are there descendants from those girls around? Thanks for any info. Judy Nichols Rock Co.WI
