Lis/Lese Family in Princeton Wisconsin and La Salle Illinois

Classification: Query
Surnames: Lis, Lese, Leese
I am looking for more information about the Lis/Lese family who settled in La Salle Illinois and Princeton Wisconsin. The spelling of the family varies from LIS-LISS-LIEHS-LIESS-LESE-LEESE family.

The 1880 federal census for La Salle lists Ignatz Lis/Lese (my relative) (1847-1925), Adam Lis (abt 1846-1920), Martin Lis (1845-1922) living next to each other. The 1890 federal census Wisconsin shows that Ignatz Lese moved to Princeton, Wisconsin and was living near Anton Lese (1843-1918). Adam and Martin remained and died in La Salle. I am trying to figure out if all four of them are brothers. If so I believe their father is Jacob Liss (b. 1812 Poznan, d. ?) and their mother is Marianna/Marciniak (Novak/Nowak) Liss (b. 1816 or 1825, d.?) I believe they are all from Ludomy Posnan. It appears that the widow Marianna Liss immigrated with Anton 18 Apr 1885 and I assume died in Princeton but I haven’t been able to find any record or obit to confirm that she was the mother. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks J Katzka (jkshop@rcn.com)
