I see you have a date for Williams 2nd marriage to Myra, Have you gotten a copy of the marriage record from Michigan?
William is buried in the Linden cemetery, have you gotten his death certificate? Probably died in Iowa or Dane county. From that you could get his obit.
The 1930 census says that William H. immigrated in 1886 and did naturalize. Did you try the courthouse in Iowa County to see if they have the records on that? If he had a will, it would be there too.....
This is most likey him in 1920

On the same page are
HODGE, Cora, 13 born in MI
Georgian, 12, born in MI
Clara, 7, born in Mi
Mom is Emma Jane , 34, born in N.J.
Step dad is Warley Pickering Barnes, 35, born 14 Jan 1872 in Penzance, Cornwall, England. Most likey they are nieces of Williams......
Cora married a Willard Francis CADWELL.
There is an online tree that says Emma Jane married Joseph Hodge22Aug1895 Iron Mountain, Menominee Co., MI. If that marriage record gave his parents info It is a strong chance that Joseph is a brother to your William. Would be worth trying to find Josephs death record and obit too.....
Here is the outline for Joseph Hodge death record

I would certainlytry for an obit for him!
I believe William H Hodge is the Harry Hodge, born Mar 1865 in the 1900 census for Halumet, Houghton Co., MI.
Hope this helps you get closer:)
