I am looking for the parents of Martin Thorson b.1842/43 Norway. I found him in Avoca, Iowa County, WI in the 1870 census. He was in this local from 1863 to 1872. He then took his family to Traill County, ND Territory. After about 20 years he moved to Portland, Oregon where he is buried. He married Caroline ?? . They had at least 4 children in Wisconsin. They were Anna b.1864; Martin b.1866; Peter William b.1867 and Bertha b.1869. Does anyone know of this family?
