Looked through Jackson Co indexes for Gilbert. Found two, different dates and different wives. Found a Gilbert Gilbertson married to a Carrie in Manitowoc Co. tho. Are you sure of dates and town? This Gilbert b. May 27, 1849 d.Aug. 29 1901. Carrie b. Feb. 24 1850 d. Aug.28 1926. They are buried in Our Lutheran Church Cemetery in Manitowoc. I could attempt to check into this further if you would like. D.P.
