I am looking for information on my ggguncle Carl BOETTCHER or Charles BOETTCHER who lived in the Concord area of Jefferson County. His dates: 1826-1904. He immigrated to America from Sternin, Kreis Kolberg-Koerlin, Pomerania before 1857. He had a farm in the Concord area. His wife's name was Ernestine SCHUMACHER Boettcher. According to the information I have, his children were:
1) Caroline Friederike "Rieke"Henrietta Boettcher , born 1854
2) Mary/Marie Elisabeth Boettcher, born 1857
3) Elise "Lizzie" Albertine Wilhelmine Boettcher MALBRAITH, born 1859. Her children were Mary, Arthur, Anna, George.
4) Herman Albert Friedrich Boettcher, born 1862-3, lived in Milwaukee.
5-6) Twins John Boettcher and Gotthold Boettcher, born about 1867. John married a Laura BOGEL (?). They lived in Sullivan Township, had daughters Lydia and Esther.
7) Clara Boettcher, born about 1873, died young.

Any suggestions on researching in the Concord area would be very welcomed. Also, any clues or information on the family would be great.

Sincerely,
Katherine
