Thanks. Sorry, I have no information on Libby Roark. I can tell you that John Roark married Mary Ann Sisley. They lived in Juneau County, Wisconsin. I believe John was from Rawdon, Quebec, Canada. Mary Ann died in 1862 and John died in 1866. He had served in the Civil War. When he knew he was going to die, he signed over guardianship of his children, John, Sarah, and George to his decesased wife's sister and her husband, Elizabeth (Lib) and George Craine, also of Juneau County, WI. After marriage, John and Mary Ann (married Albert Train) moved to the Brown's Valley, MN, where they farmed. George worked with the railroad and was killed in a steam train explosion. I think there are still Roarks in the Brown's Valley area. I hope this will give you some leads on any research you are doing. Depending on how long ago Libby Roark lived, if she was related to John, and IF they actually were from Rawdon, you may be able to get some information from Canada--or perhaps the Browns Valley, MN area.
