For anyone researching William Wright of Lyndon Station or Hiram Wright of Lemonweir, I have confirmed their parents and several generations back.
William Wright and Hiram Sherman Wright were brothers that emigrated to Wisconsin with their mother Phebe (Drake) and her second husband, Rev. Lyman Jackson, Jr. Her first husband, Alpheus Wright, died in 1832 in a farming accident.
William married Jane Abby Bogart of Girard, Erie Co., PA, before they left PA. They stopped in Ohio for a few years where they lived with Phebe and Lyman Jackson per the 1850 census. My great grandfather Frank M. Wright (Francis Marion) was born in Ohio and emigrated with them as a toddler.
I have generations below dating back to what I assume is the late 1600s. what I have personally confirmed is back through Alpheus Sr. James/Isaac/James (going backwards) are from a common record, The History of Erie Co. PA., under the entry of Charles Wright.
If you seek further info on this family line, feel free to email. My thanks to Rose Clarke for her research at the Mauston Library, and also to Jackie for dealing with questions asked I know I probably repeated 6 times over the past several years. ;)
