William (C) Stevens (Stephens) b. 1810 Penn and Catharine Longyear (?) b. 1820 Ill or

Ohio. m. in perhaps Winnebago Co., IL 1842 and then moved first to Sauk Co. and then

on to Juneau Co.

They had at least five children:

Nancy b. 1848 WI
Phelina b. 1854
Irene b. 1852 WI.

All children in their marriage records have as their mother's maiden name Longyear

(or Longcor) except with Phelina

I end up finding two mothers Catharine Stevens - one living as wd with son Albert in

1880 and then a Catherine Burwell, widow (of James Burwell m. 1868 Juneau Co.) in

1910 with daughter Phelina and I find Catharine Burwell living in Dunn Co. in 1900

with the last two children.

Thought they were all the same but now I am wondering if there at two different

families. Can you shed any light on this???
