Specifically seeking information on Fordyce Benedict b. 1848 in NY who married Mary Ella Salisbury Mar 29 1877 in Kenosha Co, WI. Mary died 1883 and is buried in Mound Prairie Cemetery. They had two children: Maria Nellie 1879 and Fordyce Jr. 1883. Unable to find what happened to Fordyce Sr. Maria and Fordyce Jr were living with grand parents on the 1900 census. Did Fordyce Sr die in Kenosha Co before 1900? Is he buried in an unmarked grave in Mound Prairie?
What happened to Maria? Appears Fordyce Jr. moved to Kokomo, IN. Can some one check the actual burial records of Prairie Mound Cemetery for a possible burial of Fordyce Sr?
