Looking for information on Louis Krummel [Friedrich Chr. Ludwig Krummel], b. 28 June 1837, Elleringhausen, Waldeck, Germany, d. 8 Jan 1900, Donnellson, Montgomery Co. IL. He came to US in May 1857 with older brother Christian and younger brother Heinrich. A 4th brother, Friedrich William, came in 1864. When Louis died he was living with his 2nd wife, Mary Elizabeth, and their children. I've found a Louis on the 1870 St. Louis census, with wife Helena and infant son August. He and Helena married in 1867. I have no way of knowing if this is the Louis I'm looking for. Is anyone descended from this Louis or from son August, or from any of the other children: Louis, Jr,. Louise, Amil or William? I would appreciate hearing from anyone researching this family and will be happy to share anything I have that you don't. Thank you.
