pneumonia casues death of mrs hattie mulder,77 at son's home

funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for mrs hattie mulder resident of la crosse and trempealeau county for 51 years . mrs mulder death occurred Saturday at the home of her sons claus and richard in the town of caledonia ater an illness of three weeks, pneumonia was given as the direct cause ofher death
services were conducted at the home and at the new amsterdam presbyterian church ,the rev frank zimmerman galesville pastor officiating ,special music was by Mmes,john church and eugene atwood,trempealeau,accompanied by mrs jesse trimm, pallbearers were neighbors of the caledonia family lot in new amsterdam.
was born in friesland netherlands march 27 1859 ,her marriage occurred there and the pair came to america in 1885 with their eldest child who later died at the age of seven years. farming occupied them during their active life and since the death of mr mulder 12 years ago his widow divided her time among her children
surviving are her 2 sons and a daughter ,mrs alfred ryder,all of the township of caledonia ,six grandchildren,2 brothers,john westra ,inwond ia,and cornelius ,caledonia and 2 sisters still living in holland
