I hope make contact with anyone in this thread who is a descendant of Christian Olson (1825-1907) and his wife, Johanne Nilsdatter (1826-1915). Christian had a brother named Ingebret who emigrated to La Crosse County, Wisconsin, in 1858, two years before Christian. Initially the brothers lived only 3 miles apart just north of present day West Salem. I am the GGG-grandson of Ingebret. I have only recently started research on Christian's branch of the family but have already made contact with a descendant of Christian's daughter Eli (Ella). For reasons yet unknown, Johanne, reported her name in the 1910 census as "Johanna Q. Running."
