Check out this page. It is from www.familysearch.org for Norwegian baptisms. The first few children are children of Hans Thoreson and Anne Larsdr. The birthdate for Martin is not what you have, but it matches the age for him in the 1880 census, and the rest of the children's names match.
I don't know if you are familiar with Norwegian naming customs, but Martin's surname should have been Hanson, or named after his father's first name. Wives kept their maiden name. However, after emmigrating, the family often took the surname of the father, more in keeping with American customs.

I also found a gravestone in Wiota which had a Gubjor Thorson on it, I have to look again to see where I found that.
