My husband's great grandfather was Claus Bartenhagen. His grandfather was Henry Bartenhagen and his father was Edward John Bartenhagen (also my husband's name: Edward John Bartenhagen, Jr.)
John has possesion of a binder put together by his aunt with a few generations of Bartenhagens listed.
