Emma E. Gill, 93, formerly of Antigo, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston.
She was born Sept. 20, 1905, to the late Ludwig and Bertha (Marquardt) Paetsch in Knowlton. She married Frank Gill on Nov. 7, 1924, in Knowlton. He preceded her in death in 1970.
Emma was raised in Knowlton, then lived in Stevens Point until 1943. She lived in Lanoa from 1943-1947, then lived in Racine until 1958. She lived in Waukegan, Ill., until 1970, and retired to Antigo at that time.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorretta (Clarence) Hayek, Schofield; a son, Frank M. Gill, Gwinn, Mich.; 11 grandchidlren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bertha Wood, Stevens Point. She was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, at Peace Lutheran Church, Antigo. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Antigo. Strasser Funeral Home, Antigo, is serving the family.
