Irene D. Winter (Klos), 84, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999.

She was born Nov. 2, 1914, in Wausau. She married Gerald Winter Sr.

She is survived by her sister, Helen Ott, Quincy, Ill.; two sons, Gerald (Martha) Winter, Hastings, Minn., and Jack (Pam) Winter, Canby, Minn; a son-in-law, Gary (Carol) Straub, Sister Bay; and grandchildren, Kira, Britt, Jeremy, Nathan, Joshua and Katie.

Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Winter Sr., daughter, Judy; brother, Harold; and sister, Eva.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 1999 at First English Lutheran Church, North Third Avenue, Wausau.
