Mrs. Elizabeth Wendt, 73, 825 Ross Ave., Wausau, died at 4 p.m. Sunday at a Wausau hospital.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wausau. The Rev. Kenneth Dix, Abbotsford, will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call at Helke West Chapel, Wausau, after 3 p.m. Tuesday, and at the church from 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
The former Elizabeth Eggebrecht was born Nov. 9, 1901, in the Town of Frankfurt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Eggebrecht. On Sept. 29, 1928, in the Town of Frankfurt, she married Hilbert Wendt. He died Aug. 14, 1964. She was a retired employe of the former Pied Piper Shoe Co., Wausau.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Rita Sobjeck, 406 N. Sixth Ave., and Mrs. Yvonne Kuether, 1215 Bopf St., both in Wausau, and Mrs. Betty Groover, Newnan, Ga.; four brothers, Edwin and Fred, both of Wisconsin Rapids, Henry, 2125 Sherman St., and Karl, 1134 S. 11th Ave., both in Wausau; and 10 grandchildren.
