Determining cemetery of burial

I hope someone can help. I am looking for the cemetery/cemeteries in which ancestors are buried in Marathon County.
One died in 1915 or 1916, but when I look for her name on cemetery listings (find-a-grave or various cemetery websites), no graves with that surname appear in the listings.
I have tried the three or four likely cemeteries -- she died in Mosinee, so I tried Union (Mosinee) & the Catholic cemetery there (St. Paul's, I believe).
I also tried Kronenwetter area cemeteries, since one branch of the family lived in that area. I tried searching her maiden name & her married surname.
Is there a cemetery which buried people too poor to afford a cemetery lot/marker?
I am having similar trouble locating a 1906 decedent and her spouse who died in the late 1800s.
Thanks for any insights offered!
