Thank you "jalaynewisniewski" for your email. That was quite a pleasant surprise.
As to your question...No I have not been able to locate anything on Mary Ann. The people that I have had contact with "know" of her, but do not recall what happened to her.
The options that they have given is either she was given up for adoption or possibly passed away. I myself have tried every option avaiable to locate her, but she is still a mystery.
In Ella's obituary dated 13 June 1934 from the Marshfield News-Herald, it says that Ella is survived by "a tiny daughter" and in her church death record Ella is survived by her husband, 2 children, parents, 1 brother, 1 sister.
However, in Nick's obituary dated 26 Dec 1985, also from the Marshfield News-Herald, there is no mention of Ella nor Mary Ann.
Also, on information from Nick's Joseph Patrie's death certificate, it lists his parents as Matthew Patrie & Mary Beining. The informant of his death is listed as Robert J. Patrie. Would Robert be your grandfather?
Just a question, if I may...Could you tell me how you knew that Nick was married to my grandmother. Not too many people seem to know that. I would really like to know. This is interesting, in a good kind of way that is...
Are you or anyone else in your family researching the Patrie line?

Again, thank you for your reply...
