Arthur Ervin Ivy, age 55, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, died on December 3, 1998 in Pine Bluff.
He was born October 16, 1943 in Los Angeles, California, the son of the late Henry Irving and Oleta Mae Magee Ivy. He was reared and received his early education in Los Angeles. He ahd also been a resident of Montello. He had been employed by the Berlin Foundry for 15 years.
Mr. Ivy had been a resident of Pine Bluff, AK for four years and had been employed by Pine Bluff Saw and Tool as a small engine technician. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Schwanke Ivy, whom he married on May 20, 1972 in Wautoma; two sons, Daniel Ivy of Wisconsin and Rusty Ray Ivy of Pine Bluff, AK; four sisters, Patricia Moore of Pine Bluff, AK. Debra Mae Lowery of Yuba City, CA. Donna Dimeo of Yuba City, CA. and Linda Anderson of North Carolina; one brother, Steven H. Ivy of Grass Valley, CA.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 7 at the chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son, Pine Bluff, AK. with the Rev. Charles Ashcraft officiating.
