Surnames: RYAN
John RYAN, b. 1822 in Croom, County Limerick, IRELAND, married Johanna SULLIVAN, b. 1828, also of Croom, in Roman Catholic Church in Croom in 1848. Their son Timothy RYAN was born on Feb. 22, 1849. Six weeks later, they emigrated to the USA, settling first in Strongs Landing [later renamed Berlin] where John worked for several years before homesteading in Marquette County, WI between Neshkoro and Montello, where his 6 children were born. John and Johanna are both buried in the St. James Catholic Church cemetery in Neshkoro, WI, as are several of their children. Interested in any and all information relating to this RYAN family from Marquette County. All responses appreciated.
