PLATTSBURGH � John F. Kitson, 66, of Astrodome Trailer Park, Plattsburgh, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in Shawano, Wis., on April 9,1938, the son of John H. Kitson and Yvette (House) Kitson-Peters.
Mr. Kitson retired from the Plattsburgh Air Force Base after 20 years of service. He was known for his sense of humor and helping those who were less fortunate.
Survivors include two sisters; Ruth Ann Black and her husband A. Eugene of Bryan, OH and Catherine Peters of Virginia Beach, Va.; special family, Arlene Funk of Neopit, Wis., Richenda and Geraldine House of Keshena, Wis., Roger House of Salem, Wis., Reginald House of Mishawaka, Ind. and Natalie and Dean Meyers of Carlsbad, Calif.; five nephews, two nieces, five great-nephews and one great-niece, a special aunt and uncle Hazel King and Robert Kitson of Keshena, Wis. and a special cousin, Pamela Grignon.
Memorial services will take place at a later date in Wisconsin. Memorial donations may be made to Palliative Care Unit or the FitzPatrick Cancer Center at the CVPH Medical Center. The R.W. Walker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
