Is any reader aware of a local historian or collection of information with information on the unincorporated village of what was New Coeln? This was located in the business area that is at the south edge of Mitchell airport and Howell Ave. Remnants of the area include St. Stephens Catholic church, and a restaurant. The township was Town of Lake prior to annexation by the surrounding communities.

I have looked, but not found published materials in Milwaukee area collections (like MPL, Milw. Co. Hist. Soc., UWM A.R.C.), just references in a variety of records that are part of my family research.

Thanks for any leads on this research query.
