that would be a different couple from the one we're researching. Roger does not fit (father would have been 13 when he was born). Sophia (josephine) would be the oldest child. Does anyone have an original document indicating her full name? She married my great-grandfather, John Pape, in 1881. I have a copy of the marriage license as well as a picture of them.
