"... Albert Kraft, who was 47 at the time of the 1880 census. His wife was Josephine VesLoski, age 35 They had a son Anton -16, a son August-14, a daughter Julia-10, another daughter Maragaretha ? (am not sure of the spelling as the census is not real clear) age 6. Then Ferdinand, my grandfather was next in line; he was 5, then there was Elizabetha age 3. There was also a brother August ..."

There's a newer resource available since your 2004 posting: "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). There's an entry for an Albert Kraft in 1914 (death notices) - about 65 entries for Kraft in the current data. Other surnames referenced with these entries are Müller Mueller Groschke Tegge Strelow Kuder Juracka Becker Boettcher Capol Kickbusch Wissmueller
