Try the Mathias Jaeger, T/Greenfield, died in 1904 at 80/81 yrs. depending on the record. His death notices are in the local German papers. German naming customs (compound names) may make it hard to prove his parent's names unless you find something like an IGI entry or church record with full name and birth date.
Otherwise, the German papers have a wedding anniversary photo for a Mr. & Mrs. Mathias Jaeger in Nov. 1902 that might include just a caption or brief bio.
There are about 400 Jaeger, and 80 Jäger entries or references found in "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). There are some Yaeger, but no Yager, found in the current data file.
