Info needed for Christian Brentz and wife Anna Maria (Steinbacher)

Classification: Query
Surnames: Brentz Bergmann Steinbacher
In 1864 Christian Friedrich Brentz married my gg-grandmother, Anna Maria (Steinbacher) Bergmann in Milwaukee Co. apparently after Anna's first husband Laurence/Lorenz/Lawrence died. I have the full date of the marriage. But if anyone has access to the original record in Vol. 2, pg. 426, I would appreciate that info. The only reason I know it was my gg-grandmother who he married is because I found her maiden name associated with the record on a web site. What I also need to know is what happened to them. Cannot find them on the 1870 census. In 1867 and 1868 two of her children married in Monroe Co. OH.

Preliminary investigation on Christian indicated that he may have been born in 1834 (German records). The german records indicated a Wilhelmina was his mother and there was a Wilhelmina Brentz in the 1860 and/or 1870 census for Milwaukee. If so he was 15 years younger than Anna as she was born approx. 1819.

Thanks for any help. Will pay for the info. if there is a researcher out there that has access to Milwaukee records. A look up in the Milwaukee directories would be in order also. I did look up Bergmann in them and of course the listing for Anna ended approx. 1864. I didn't know at the time to look for Brentz. I haven't been able to find them in Monroe Co., OH either. Their death records do not start until 1867 cause of a courthouse fire.
