The excellent Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Archive was actually created as part of the Google Historic Newspapers collection. And you can also use the online "NewspaperARCHIVE", and "19th Century U.S. Newspapers" from your home computer if you live in Wisconsin (BadgerLink), or probably through many other public institutions throughout the U.S.

"Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950).
