The late John Ingles Jr. compiled "The Desendants of Daniel L. Nichols" b ca 1800 NY and wife
Eunice Merryfield. She was the dau of Richard
Merrifield and Sophina Merryfield [sic] and step-
dau of Moses Jewell. Lived Orangeville, Wyoming Co., NY; Cattaraugus Co., NY; Sparta, Monroe Co., WI. See Merryfield forum for important War of
1812 material on Richard. It is too long to copy. This book is out of print but is available on microfilm at LDS Family History Centers. Eunice (sp Unice in Richard's will) buried at
Sparta; Daniel L.'s resting place has not been found. My 2GGparents. Early Monroe Co. WI history mistakenly calls her "Mayfield."
