Try the Monroe County (Wis) Local History Room, www.monroecountyhistory.org, which lists "Anna" Maluge, age 8 in the 1880 census in Wellington, Amelia age 5, Charles (farmer) age 51 and Charles age 6, Emma age 18, all in Wellington.

There are more Maluges listed in the 1880 census index, as well as Maluger in 1870 and Maluge in 1875, 1885.

The cemetery index lists Charles d 1886 in Calvin Day cemetery; Charley F d. 1899 same cem.; Friedrich A. d. Feb 1877 in St. Matthew's Evan. Luth. cem; Lorena, d. 1890, Calvin Day cem; Louis, d. 1902 Calvin Day cem; and Mary d. 1892 Calvin Day cem.

Can't say enough good things about the wonderful resources and people at the Monroe County Local History Room, Sparta.

Regards,
Nancy
