She married Leonard Steffen in Oconto on April 20 1898. Her obiturary (d. January 7, 1943) says she had 3 surviving sisters; Mrs Arthur Casson and Mrs. Ben Drasen both from Marinette and Mrs. Tena Swaer from Little Suamico.
