Mrs. Ida Dumke
Appleton -- Mrs. Ida Dumke, 94, of 912 N. Harriman St., Appleton, died Monday evening. She had been ill for the past year.
Mrs. Dumke was born Nov. 16, 1876 in Domro, Germany, and had been an Appleton resident for the past 76 years.
A member of First English Lutheran Church of Appleton, she was the second oldest member of the congregation, and had been a member of the Ladies Circle of the church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Peterson, Appleton, and Mrs. Albert Francier, Green Bay; one son, Arthur Dumke, Appleton; one brother, Carl Klippstein, Appleton; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Schleitwiler, Appleton; Mrs. John Klippstein, Wolf Point, Mont., and Mrs. R. Yingling, Duluth, Minn.; 13 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. L. A. Ziemer will officiate at funeral services at First English Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin Funeral Home, Appleton, from 3 p.m. Wednesday until 10 a.m. Thursday and then at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
A memorial has been established.
