I am looking for a copy of a letter published in the Dutch language newspaper Volkstem (from DePere? or Little Chute?) around 1910. It was written by a Roman Catholic priest whose last name was Vermaat. He wrote it to encourage Dutch Catholics to come to Montana and homestead near Chinook, in Blaine County. The community that ensued was called Hollandville and it was pretty much abandoned in the mid-1920s due to weather and crop failure.
My mother was born in Hollandville in 1915 and as part of our family history it would be wonderful to have a copy of the Volkstem letter.
Just thought I'd ask.
