Carl (Charles) and Ida were my great-grandparents. Paul, their son, was my grandfather. I have a copy of the ship's manifest when the immigrated to the US. I also have been communicating with some Gebheim's in Leipzig, Germany. There are about 15 families in Germany with the Gebheim name. Carl & Ida originated in the Mecklenburg Schwerin district.
