"... My GGGrandparents, Gottfried Wilhelm Wille (1785 - 1847) and Caroline Luise Marie Lemke (1792 - 1866) immigrated from Pomerania to Milwaukee ... there is another unrelated Wille family in the Milwaukee area ..."

There are about 200 Wille entries or references collected in the local resource "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). There is some overlap with families in neighboring counties. There are about 150 Hilgenforf/f; 1 (!) Grünhagen / Gruenhagen; 175 Wendorf/f; 20 Brendenmiehl /
Brendenmuehl; 50 Mintzlaff / Mintzloff entries in the current index. But those numbers can change as indexing continues. You can also search through Lemke Lemcke Lembcke Lembke Lempke entries and references.
