Well, this is intriguing! My connection to the Dickmanns is very roundabout (my wife's great-grandmother was a Roden from Saukville, and her aunt was married to one of William Dickmann's sons). And her great-uncle Frank Loof was married to a Lizzie Schreiner, daughter of (supposedly) Mathias Schreiner and Elizabeth Schumacher, but I haven't tracked either one down yet. So I'm interested in piecing together anything anyone might have on either family. So, any idea whose family Katherine Schreiner came from? I'm betting the Schreiners, Dickmanns and probably the Rodens all came from the same general area in Germany and the families stuck together. Very interesting!
