I was searching for relatives in Pepin for my husband's family and came across your message. I am searching (with limited luck) for my Mother's family- PATRIN. Could that spelling also derive from PETRIN? Have you seen PATRIN anywhere? Any help would be greatly helpful- they mostly have resided in the Polk County and MN area, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask :)
