Dear Donna:
In my research on my Lampman family from Pepin Co., I came across a note in my grandmothers journals. Harold Lampman, son of Henry S. Lampman and Lydia Bunce was raised for several years by the John McMahon family. At the same time, I' guessing my grandparents Claude and Zelda Lampman of Columbia Heights were helping to raise two of Harolds brothers, Norman and Fred. Henry's wife died in Winona in Nov. 1918, so I'm guessing this would have been shortly after that or maybe before that.
