The Fenton family was well known in Lewis Co. NY- a Fenton owned a large resort called the Fenton House- popular with wealthy city people wanting to experience the Adirondacks. Eunice was a relative of theirs. Edward McGlachlin wrote about a visit he made back to Watson to his old schoolhouse in 1909. I have read it and you can find it on the old newspaper site-http://news.nnyln.net/ Search the Lewis County papers for McGlachlin and you should find it- it is very touching. My husbands grandfather worked at the Fenton House, it burned in the 70's I believe but was well known and still talked about today. In the article he mentions a brother in Martinsburg, Lewis County- I have not looked into that so maybe you will find he had a brother still living here!! Good luck, my email is cjcamp (at) frontiernet.net
