I have attached his burial in the Prentice Cemetery. I wasn't able to find Aliina's in any of the other cemeteries in Price county. Attached is a pic of the 1930 census for her and it shows her head of household, so maybe they were divorced?

I'll try most anything, but I don't have her husband's first name. Her maiden name was Erickson, though she was raised by her foster parents, Andrew John Larson and Anna Elizabeth (Erickson) Larson, who ended up moving to Oregon. I don't believe she was ever legally adopted. Her son's name might have been Raymond Carlson.

She was born around 1887 in Minnesota. At the time her adopted parents each died, she was married with the last name Carlson and was living in Minneapolis, Minn., in 1932, and then in Webster, Wis., in Vernon County, in 1943.

Heindl Funeral Home doesn't keep obituaries with their records.
The name of the local (Phillips) newspaper is THE BEE. Since you know the death date, you can order a microfilm from Wis. Historical Society through Inter Library Loan at your library. WHS sends it to your library to be read there. Your library needs a microfilm reader. You don't have to live in Wisconsin for this service.

Oh, I wish it were! But my Anna's married name was Carlson, not her maiden name, and she was likely born in Minnesota (I have her census information prior to her marriage; her later life, sadly, is the problem). I suspect the Anna with this death date could be the right one, but I can't be sure without an obit listing survivors.

I'm not a relative, I helped you find Schnur information in 2006 - 2007. I searched my computer for your surname to find what had been sent to you and came up with a history of Martin Mill school that was used in a Price County Genealogical Society Newsletter. Katherine's name was listed as a teacher. If you are interested in the article, I could send it to you via e-mail. Is your address still kensch777@yahoo.com?
Karen Baumgartner, Chairperson PCGS

I was unable to find it there. An Alfred Richter (don't know if he is yours or not) born 7 Sept. 1886, died in Park Falls, Wisconsin 20 January 1974 and is buried in Union Cemetery in Butternut (Ashland County) according to his death record (Deaths vol. 25, pg. 32, Price County Register of Deeds, 126 Cherry St., Phillips, WI 54555) His obit is probably in the Park Falls Herald, Park Falls, Wis. The Park Falls, Wisconsin Public Library does some obituary look-ups. I'd check with them if I were you. His surviving spouse is Dollie Pope according to the death record.

Mildred Richter's obituary source information: The Bee, Phillips, Wisconsin issue 17 July 1947, vol. 63, no. 49, pg.12, col. 5
I am trying to ascertain the burial location of a couple who, it appears, spent their entire lives in Ogema, Price County, Wisconsin. Here are their respective Find-A-Grave pages:

James - http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=87...

Ebba - http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=80...

If anyone can help me here, I would really appreciate it!! And if anyone has obits, and a death date for James, that would be super.

Tom Nelson, Kansas City, Mo.
