OBITUARY-MRS.C.B. WAGNER---One of Burlington's well known residents Mrs. C. B. Wagner, Sr. passed away at her home 494 Jefferson Street Wednesday evening from the infirmities of old age.
Elizabeth M. Borngesser, daughter of George and Catherine Borngesser was born in Milwaukee on January 27, 1853. She received her education and spent her early life there.
On May 19, 1874 , she was united in marriage with Charles B. Wagner at St. Mary's Church in this city. and resided in Burlington since that time, living over 60 years at her late home on Jefferson Street.
Mr. and Mrs. Wagner had observed their sixty-first Wedding Annibersary before his death on September 6, 1935.
Four daughters survive their mother. They are Catherine and Nora at home; Mrs. Frank Gill of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Mrs. Platte Overton of Chicago. Nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive. One son C.B. Wagner, Jr.passed away November 20, 1936, and one child died in infancy.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning 9 O'Clock at St. Mary's Church with Rev. Kersting officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
